1950's Celluloid Baby in Pink plastic Basket

This Celluloid baby doll is wrapped in a small blanket and is able to come out of the pink plastic basket, which looks woven, like the Baby Bassinets that were also popular at this time. as you can see in the photos. The baby's eyes move up and down and her arms and legs are also moveable. Often the arms and legs were held together with little rubber bands. She is swaddled in a yellow flannel blanket and could be placed in the nursery of a dollhouse. The overall look is very sweet.
