Back: Standing in the center of the campus is Beaumont Tower, one of the most cherished landmarks of Michigan State College. The tower, a gift of an MSC alumnus, John W. Beaumont, was built in 1928 on the site of Old College Hall. Under his recent will, Mr. Beaumont also left to the college a sum of 25,000 to be used as a scholarship fund.
