Beistle Two Sided Honeycomb Floral Wreath Valentine Card- 1930's

This card was made by the Beistle Card company. This company was founded in 1900 in Pennsylvania, and they still make cards today. They were also one of the first card companies to create honeycomb designed cards. This beautiful card has two honeycombs on either side. These fold out to create a honeycomb vase that the wreath of flowers and butterflies on the card sit in. One side of the card says, "Loving Greetings" and the other says "To my Sweetheart." The card is also marked with the Beistle logo and patent. It is made from a heavy paper. This card is in excellent condition. Both of the honeycombs fold out perfectly, and there is virtually no wear on the card's designs. The spots that show the most wear are where the honeycombs hook onto the card, as the red has worn away from those spots. This would be a unique addition to a collection.
