Kirchof Co. Life of the Party - Clown Tin Litho - Hand Rattle - Noisemaker

The Kirchof Toy company is known for its colorful and expressive tin litho designs on a variety of noisemakers, toys, and more! Founded in 1852 by Charles Kirchof, the production of noisemakers was popular and used widely at any special occasion.
This lithographed tin noisemaker is a hand rattle in wonderful condition, featuring 5 different clowns on a yellow base. Inside, there is a marble that rolls around to make noise with ease. The handle is a red painted wood that is easy to grip. It is marked with "Kirchof Newark, N.J. Made in U.S.A." and "Kirchof "Life of the Party" Products"
There is some slight wear to the paint on the lower portion of the rattle noisemaker, but this is common to find with a vintage item of its age. No dents, no cracks or scrapes, and most importantly -- Lots of Noise!
