Back Information: … connecting greater New Orleans with the highlands of St. Tammany Parish to the North. This is the worlds longest continuous ever water bridge, 23.89 miles. The first span was completed in 1956 at a cost of 51 million dollars, the second span in 1969 at a cot of $29,887,174.00 The almost 21 million savings was due to improved materials and elimination of costly construction steps in the precast Section.
Condition: Good, soft corners, top 2 corners are slightly bent.
