Rare Rosbro Rosen Rooster Pulling Original Easter Basket With Chicks Inside

This rare Rosbro Rosen Rooster piece was made in the 1950's by Rosbro Plastics. Rosbro was well know for their hard plastic holiday themed candy containers. This piece is a large yellow rooster pulling a natural Easter basket with two chicks in it. The chicks are made of pipe cleaners and compressed cotton, while the rooster and cart are made of hard plastic.

This item is in excellent condition, there are no chips, cracks, or breaks in the plastic. The painting is solid and in amazing condition. The chicks in the basket are also in excellent condition, they have not aged a day. The Easter basket on the cart is attached very loosely, it seems the thread that was holding the basket to the cart has become loose over time. We decided to not try and fix this, instead letting the future buyer decide how they'd like to fix the basket. It is an easy fix.
