Tin Litho Friction Race Cars- Made in Japan- STP Red #12 Race Car - STP Blue #55 Shackman of N.Y.- 2 Available - Sold Individually

This is two tin Lithographed race cars, sold individually. They are both advertising STP oil. One is Red with the 12 as the racer number, the other is Royal Blue with 55 as the racer number. They both have original paint and original tires. They are friction toys and when pulled back they do go forward, but not fast or far. When pushed forward they make a cool race car sound. Both cars are in very nice condition, which is not always the case with tin lithography, as it has a propensity to rust, dent and scratch. The Japanese were known for quality lithograph toys, as were the Germans before them. These little race cars were protected in a collector's case for the last 25 years.
