This embossed Valentine post card was made by the PFB Postcard company, which stands for Paul Finkenrath, Berlin. This company was formed in 1900, but was only active until 1910 when the export market declined, causing their postcards to saturate the market. It is estimated that this company made anywhere between 5300-11000 postcards in their 10 years of operation. This beautiful Valentine shows a dapper boy in a sled filled with Valentine gifts blowing a horn. The design is embossed, and is accented with golden paint. This makes a very eye catching design, especially under the right light. The front of the card says, "To my Valentine." The back of the card is a postcard, and has the PFB logo on the bottom left corner. It is made from a thick paper. The card is in very good condition with no bends or rips, and no paint loss.
Measures 5.5 inches long and 3.5 inches wide.
