This tintype photograph features a well dressed older woman with slightly rosy cheeks. She is not smiling, as is common in photos from this time, because the subject had to sit for an extended period of time while the photograph was taken. The photograph was likely taken in the 1860s or 1870s, when tintypes were most popular. Based on the edges, it appears that at one time this photograph was bound in an album.

Height: 5 inches
Width: 3.75 inches
