Wade Timberwolf, Red Rose Collectible, Endangered Animals Series, Two Wolves, Sold as a Set

We have two of these Red Rose Tea Timber wolves. They are sold as a set. They are gray with darker hues to resemble natural shadowing and hair. The Timber wolf was promoted in the endangered animal series. These would go well in a forest scene, or can be paired with other Rose tea animals to create a collection.

In 1967, Red Rose Tea Company of Canada, contracted Wade ceramics of England, a company founded in 1954, to produce several series of miniature ceramic creatures. They were contracted to make special collectible miniature animals to act as prizes in boxes of their tea. By 1983 the series included 15 animals and they were in high demand in the United States. They were loved by collectors, who displayed them proudly in shelf units. They were popular items to trade, as everyone wanted a full set. Today they are often found online.
