This White Toy Horse is a Lipizzaner, a breed of horse that traces back 2000 years to the Orient. They eventually ended up in Austria in a town called Lipizza where the strong noble breed became known as Lipizzaners. During WWII the American General, Patton, helped to secretly get the Lipizzaners out of Austria to other countries to protect the best of the blood lines. The Lippizzaner is born a black and by 10 years of age is white. They are strong, gorgeous and very trainable, thus, often appearing in parades and in formation or ridden by nobility. They live to be 30 to 35 years of age. This little toy is in great vintage condition, and was produced in 1993. It is very small, only measuring 2.25" X 2" X 0.75" and is very lightweight. There is no damage, with the hoof paint intact.
