This Cur Teich linen postcard, which is in good condition, depicts the Fountain of Time in Washington Park, Chicago. The Fountain of Time was created by the sculptor Lorado Taft, who was a famous Chicago sculptor. The sculpture was inspired by Austin Dobson's poem "Paradox of Time."

The Fountain of Time is a statuary group of heroic size standing of the Midway to Washington Park. It is one of the many remarkable conceptions of the world famous Chicago sculptor Lorado Taft, inspired by the lines of the poet Austin Dobson: 'Time Flies, you say! Ah no! Time stays; we go."
