German Paper Mache Easter Egg with Chick Delivering a Love Letter. - vintage Easter Egg for Sweetheart or Wife

The vintage Victorian designs were ever so popular in the early 1970s. The designs were borrowed and used on greeting cards and seasonal items. The design on the Easter Egg makes it perfect to give to a sweetheart or wife at Easter. It could even be used to present an engagement ring. It is so cute withe the animated chicks. The egg is in good condition and marked made in Germany. It would be wonderful filled with chocolates and special piece of jewelry. There is a wee bit of warping where the two sides meet, but this does not affect its use, as a ribbon needs to be tied around it, to hold it together when filled.
