"Pinocchio in America" by Angelo Patri and published in 1928 is a sequel to the original "Pinocchio," which was written in 1883 by Carlo Collodi. In this book Pinocchio dislikes school so much that he runs away to America "where children are free," swimming across the ocean to reach the United States. This imaginative book tells quite a story and is enhanced by gorgeous illustrations by Mary Liddell.

The cover of this book is still in tact and the hinges are not broken or damaged. The pages are all in great condition, there are no tears or foxing. There are a few small pencil markings on the front endpaper and in the table of contents, but all of the pages after the table of contents are clean and unmarked.
