Post Cereal Premium - J.D.C. Captain's Badge with Red Star

This dapper Captain 's badge was a toy in Post Cereal boxes in the 1930's. Post put a variety of badges in their cereals, such as detectives, sergeants, and captains, each with different colors and stars. This is a gold badge with one large red star and is printed with, "Captain." The badge the badge also has the brand, "Post's J.D.C." at the bottom in black text. The badge is in good condition. The front of the badge has some tarnishing and is a little rough from play. The gold color remains along with the paint in the star and text. The back of the pin has some wear, but the pin itself has minimal rusting and moves fairly easily. This would be a great nostalgic piece for a collection.
